Our Dual Control Agas
The Dual Control (DC) is where tradition meets contemporary living. This model gives the room heat and warmth of a traditional Aga but with controllable hotplates reducing energy consumption. A hugely popular model, these Agas are favoured by traditionalists and first time Aga owners alike. Running costs are moderate, though considerably higher than the Total Control and Electrickit models.
This model features a low heat “slumber” setting or the ovens can be turned off entirely, retaining use of the hotplates. Oven heat up times are similar to those of a traditional model so those users wishing to turn their Aga off for the Summer months to eliminate excess room heat, will most likely use the DC in the same way.
The joy of the DC however is that the hot plates can be turned on independently, with rapid heat up times - simmering in 8 minutes, boiling in 12 or less, keeping your cooker functioning throughout the seasons. Cooking techniques on the Dual Control align with Traditional Aga techniques, meaning little adjustment is needed for the long time Aga user.
The Dual Control is available as all electric or dual fuel. The Dual Control has recently been rebranded the R7 .and these models are roughly comparable.

Prices include installation within 3 hours driving distance (according to AA Route Planner). Beyond this area, a small distance surcharge may apply. All prices include VAT.

What to expect from our Agas

All Agas are sold in "as new" condition and include:
Full re-enamelling including front plate and doors, top plate, lid rings and handrail brackets. Side panels come as standard in Black, coloured side panels + £200, if required.
Produced to order, to your specifications
Shot blasting of internals to clean cast.
Refinished hot spots
Replacement chrome domes (or re-enamelled domes), lid liners, lid cords, and sundries. For other finishes, including gold, brass, copper and black chrome, please ask for a quotation
Replacement door liners, ropes, and sundries.
Replacement chrome buttons and lid springs.
Replacement oven tunnels.
Replacement insulation in lids and doors.
Replacement badge and handrail.
Re-enamelled shroud if applicable.
New, refurbished or upgraded PCB board.
All other working parts new or refurbished.
5 year parts warranty*, 1 year labour
Installation by our own fully trained and accredited engineers (reduced purchased price available if you would prefer to use your own local engineer)
