*Our payback times have been calculated on what we see as typical Electrickit use for a 2 oven Aga. The below is based on a relaxed way of using the Aga which we find works well for many users. Use will, however, vary widely.  Our "typical" use consists of:

-Continuous (24/7) use at 200c during November to February.

-"Shoulder month" use during March, April, September and October, using the timers to control the Aga. Ovens are set at 120c overnight, with the heat increased to 200c for one period of 2 hours per day.

-Summer use - May to August - the Aga turned on only for use at 200c for 2 hours per day.

We have also allocated 1 hour’s traditional hob use per day (1 x 2.2 kw hob only). Payback times can be further reduced with increased use of timer programmes. Prices have been calculated using the January price cap of £0.2486 kw/h.
